Inside the Lab: Ally is interested in investigating molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's.
Outside the Lab: Ally enjoys cooking/baking, working out, and reading.
Charlie Mangan, B.A. (he/they)
Associate Researcher
Inside the Lab: Charlie is broadly interested in developmental neuroscience and is excited to learn more about the biological mechanisms that drive hippocampus development.
Outside the Lab: Charlie enjoys writing plays, drinking coffee, and cooking for his friends.
Emily Chapman, M.D. (she/her)
Neurosurgery Resident
Inside the Lab: Emily is interested in oligodendrocyte development in the hippocampus across the human lifespan, and how these research findings might one day help her pediatric neurosurgical patients!
Outside the Lab: Emily enjoys long-distance running, learning Spanish and reading historical non-fiction.
Damion Kettle (he/him)
Undergraduate Student
Inside the Lab: Damion is excited to explore neural stem cell biology and further develop his competence in laboratory techniques, particularly with an application to neurodegenerative diseases.
Outside the Lab: Damion enjoys doing aerial yoga, exploring the city with friends, and trying new food..
